EQUALITY OFFICE
Led the compilation of educational materials on domestic violence from professionals working in the field and thus creating accessible online courses.
“The goal of the course is to increase the knowledge of professionals across the country about domestic violence and facilitate answers to questions, for example: How do we identify victims and perpetrators? How should we respond? What resources are available in Iceland? What needs to be considered when processing cases involving disabled people, pregnant individuals, people of foreign origin, queer people and individuals from other minority groups?” – Text from the website of the Icelandic Centre for Equality.

The Office for Equal Opportunities also led the project Building Bridges Breaking Walls, which was a 30-month project to improve cooperation in domestic violence cases and increase public awareness of domestic violence. Here is link to videos which are one of the products of the project.
