STAY AT THE SHELTER
Al llegar al refugio, a la mujer, se le providee una habitación para ella y para sus hijos (con camas, edredones, almohadas, sabanas). The stay, food and cleaning products are free for women and their children.
But each case is different in the time for the stay and the refuge, and the type of service they require. During the stay, a las mujeres se les ofrece interviewes con los consejeros del refugio, trabajadores sociales y/o abogados. CHILDREN IN THE SHELTER
Las mothers are responsible for their children during their stay in the refuge, but also members of the staff and volunteers make their greatest effort to support the children. Los niños que han cumplido six años son interviewados por consejeros, los cuales proveen de informationa los niños, como educación acerca de lo que es la violencia y les ofren la oportunidade poder expresarse en cuanto a sus sentimientos y emociones. Se les da una introducción con las regulas seguir en el refugio y se les enseña una animation llamada "Hablemos sobre la violencia", la cual ha sido creada por el refugio para mujeres y producida exactly para este purpose.
Existe un objetivo para ayudar y asistir a los niños, que tienen que venir y quedarse en el refugio, el cual es incrementar su calidad vida través de actividades de entertainment, que sean divertidas. Se le da gran énfasis a la con dentialidad en el refugio durante la estadía, en todo lo que sucede durante el personal y las mujeres. También les pedimos a las mujeres que se quedan en el refugio que sean discretas con la información que obtengan unas de otras.Además la dirección del refugio para mujeres no es publica.

INTERVIEWS
Mujeres que han experiasiona violencia or que actualmente viven con violencia pueden visitar el albergue para una interviewa en la que pueden solicitar asistencia, consejo y/o información, sin tener que quedarse formalne en el refugio. Para poder tener una interview, es necesario hacer una appointment al teléfono 561 1205. The interview is free. Their parents and relatives can also use this service. Las mujeres request interviews for different reasons. En ocassiones vienen para obtener practical information on how to leave your abusive partner, information on how to divorce, or how to cross a custody case, housing problems and more. Cuando
las mujeres están siendo abusadas, a veces se vuelven immune o insensibles a la situación, se acostumbran a la agresión verbal ya la
conducta del aggressor, por lo que no siempre están seguras si su caso es un caso de violencia domestica o no. Also, sometimes it can be difficult or uncomfortable to talk about the cults with relatives or some family member. Es por esto que algunas veces las mujeres vienen una interview con un consejero del refugio para mujeres, para hablar de su situación.
