At certain times of the year, we reach out to individuals and invite them to support the important work of the Women's Shelter with voluntary donations. You can choose to have a bank draft sent to you or pay by credit card.

The goal is to ensure that we can continue to provide safe shelter and professional assistance for women and children experiencing domestic violence – 24 hours a day, all year round.

As stated in our annual report, the Friends of the Women's Shelter, people who regularly support us, make up the largest part of our operating income. Their support allows us to keep the shelter open 24/7, providing advice and care for children and mothers during their most difficult times. The support of the Friends of the Women's Shelter is also helping to build a new shelter that will open in the summer of 2026, designed with the diverse needs of women and children in mind.
